Workshop Saturday September 20th

Workshops

We have a great choice of workshops, taught by renowned teachers from all over Europe. The workshop program starts at 10.30AM, doors wil be open at 9.30AM. The last worshops end at 5.30PM. All workshops have a limited amount of participants. Before you go to the ticketshop, see the program and choose two workhops (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) that you want to join. Please notice that there are no instruments provided and also see the levels for each workshop. In advanced classes no basic patterns will be taught.

Location

We have a new location for this years workshop day, "De Mallemolen". Please see the location-page for the details.

Before, between and after the workshops

Before
Please be at the venue in time. As the first workshops start at 10.30AM and you'll need some time to check in, maybe have a coffee and a chat, unpack your instrument, those kind of things. As the workshop time is limited and we want to use that time for the lesson, we ask all participants to arrive between 9.30AM and 10.00AM

Between
No need to bring or buy lunch, as there will be a lunch buffet, which is included in your ticket!

After
After the afternoon workshop it's time for diner, which is also included in your ticket! In the evening there will be an show, but I can't tell you what that is yet (I'm sorry). In any case, tell the peope at home that you won't be back early.

Tickets

There will be 3 types of passe partout tickets. All of them give access to the workshops and the evening show, and lunch & diner are included all of these tickets. The only difference is the price, as we want to make the festival accessible for everyone. A regular ticket costs €85. But if you have a little less money, you can buy a ticket for €75. If you want to help us make that possible and you have a little more to spend, you can buy a ticket for €95. Doing so, we ask you to pay what you can for the ticket. Off course there is also the possibility to donate something extra in our ticket shop, to support the Samba Festival Foundation. As we have a very narrow financial base, we need your donations to keep the ticket prices acceptable.
If you don't participate in the workshops (why wouldn't you?) but want to come to the evening show, you can buy an evening ticket, for only €10.
Tickets are not refundable, if you want to sell your ticket, please use our secure reselling partner TicketSwap.

Go to the Ticket shop to buy your ticket. After buying a ticket you will receive a link to the workshop selection form. With this form you select the workshops you want to do and the instrument(s) you will be playing.
